Thanks for your sensible podcast, and for sharing your experiences. Regarding ‘philosophy’ of storage, a friend told me many years ago “the purpose of storage is retrieval”. This stuck with me and I use it to determine ‘if I didn’t know where to find something, where would I look first?’. That helps me decide, first, where to put things, and then, how to organize them into (or near) that place.
