Great topic. Thanks. I am curious when you are at anchor or mooring for a few months, how often do you go day sailing? Thanks
Carolyn Shearlock says
It depends — Dave has had some health issues in the last two years. But when he’s been up to it (and the weather has cooperated), we try to go out at least once a week.

Thank you for the podcast. I have decided to order the 4-way wind scoop instead of seeing my own.
Just a suggestion: 12 volt fans are a must for the ‘Over 50’ crowd and are a life saver. I love one from Home Depot that I just got. Quietest of all which is a must bc my husband usually doesn’t like the sound of the motor. This one purrs instead of grinds. It plugs in with a USB cord. One boat puts ice in front of the fan, cooling the air, takes the melted water and refreezes it. I’ll be trying that next.
