Hi Carolyn, What a great edition. I have been following you for awhile & this one is really packed with useful advice. I resonate strongly with your ideas of why you go cruising & am sure that your site will inspire more to get out and “Do It”.
Enjoy the Bahamas

Your podcast was very interesting. Since I am not a strong sailor, my fear relates to your earlier fears ending up in a major squal/storm, my husband getting injured/sick and I have to manage the boat. There are also so many gadgets and systems on the boat, which totally do not interest me, but i may need to know how to work them in an emergency. How much is enough to get by.? What can I do to prepare myself? I am probably sounding like a neurotic person, which I am not, I love adventure and new experiences but don’t feel I can trust myself in a crisis situation. Any thoughts?
