I think personally that a boat name should be fun and have personal meaning. Over the years I have had numerous boats and have spent many hours racking my brain for just the perfect name. My first cruiser was named for my wife MA BE for Mary Berry, we used to say it meant may be we can afford it, may be not. My second boat was named PIER PRESSURE, this boat broke the dock in a storm and so got its name. My third boat was NAUTI BUOY self explanatory. My present boat is HUNKY DORY because it is a trailer mounted 32 ft command bridge which is hunky for the road. It is also slang for everything is good. My next boat which I do not have yet will be a sail boat and will be called BREAK WIND again self explanatory. Another unique name that I like is a friend who is French Canadian his last name is La Rivier he named his boat La Rivier Batou meaning river boat.
Have fun with this part of boating.
